Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the services.
Authority and Mandate (Debit Order)
The signed Authority and Mandate refers to our contract as dated as on signature hereof (“the Agreement”).
I/we hereby authorize you to issue and deliver payment instructions to the bank for collection against
my/our above-mentioned account at my/our above-mentioned bank (or any other bank or branch to which I/we
may transfer my/our account), commencing on the commencement date and continuing until this Authority and
Mandate is terminated by me/us by giving you notice in writing of no less than 30 calendar days, sent by
letter or e-mail, or delivered to your address. The individual payment instructions so authorized must be
issued and delivered as follows:
- On the 1st day of each and every month commencing on the above-mentioned commencement date.
- If the payment date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or recognized South African public holiday, the payment will automatically be the previous working day.
- If there are insufficient funds in the nominated account to meet the obligation, you are entitled to track the account and re-present the instruction for payment as soon as sufficient funds are available.
I/we understand that the withdrawals hereby authorized will be processed through a computerized system
provided by the South African banks and that the details of each withdrawal will be printed on my/our bank
statement. I/we shall not be entitled to any refund of amounts which you have withdrawn while this authority
was in force, if such amounts were legally owing to you. Please note that our system will automatically
suspend accounts with a negative balance after the due date.
MANDATE: I/we acknowledge that all payment instructions issued by you shall be treated by my/our
above-mentioned bank as if the instructions had been issued by me/us personally.
Cancelling Your Service
We require one full calendar month’s written notice for all cancellations. Please email your cancellation
notice to support@panafricatelecom.co.za. A calendar month
runs from the 1st to the last day of that month. (Example: notice given on 12 February means cancellation
takes effect on 31 March.) We will remove the equipment once you terminate your service, or you can keep it
for R3 000 for Fixed Wireless.
When Billing Starts
Billing begins once your service is installed and activated.
How Billing Works
Internet services are billed monthly in advance and prorated from your activation date. Your first invoice
may include: (1) a prorated amount from activation to the end of that month, and (2) installation cost. All
invoices are issued on the 1st day of the month and are due within 7 days of issue. If payment isn’t received,
services will be suspended automatically 3 days after the due date. (Note: our system takes 2 days to
synchronise, and different banks take 2 days to reflect in our account.)
Ongoing Billing & Suspension
Your account continues to be billed until written cancellation is received — even if your service is
suspended due to non-payment, or you’re not actively using it. You are responsible for all charges until
cancellation is confirmed in writing.
Debit Order Returns
If you choose to pay via debit order and the debit is returned unpaid, a R50 processing fee will be added
to your account.
